Project Timeline

The preparation and planning of the programme started already in July 2021 and all its actions and deliverables will be completed by October 2022. Milestone dates during implementation are the following:

1. July 2021 Publication of the open call addressing artistic groups.

2.October 2021 Selection of the DECA Architecture team of artists after evaluation by an independent jury of experts.

3.November 2021 - June 2022 Organization of educational activities in Sifnos and Athens and an exhibition with demonstration of works by the students of the local high- school (STARTS Academy).

4.November 2021 - June 2022 Period of artistic residency, field research, organization of workshops in Sifnos, design and production of artistic installation and digital platform.

5.April - June 2022 Organization of networking events.

6.July 2022 Opening of the public exhibition in Sifnos with the results of the art residency, the art installation and the digital platform

7.July-September 2022 Εxhibition and info desk stays open in Sifnos.

8.September - October 2022 Participation in the international exhibition of the STARTS4Water project in European cities.
