Interviews and Interventions at Omonia square

UrbanDig Project is about to dig even deeper, in order to understand the needs of Omonia square's users.

What is that they/we like and what should change?

Between the 4th and 16th of February, we will interview both people that work/buy/pass by the peripherical part of the square, as also the users of the "inner" square, in different days and hours.

Interviews will take place both through the "classic" way, as also into the context of artistic interventions on the square, which intend to change the urban landscape and provoke new discussions.

Part of the collected material will be used in the final performance, as well as for the creation of an app along with the Dutch "Company New Heroes" (June 2017). Bas van Rijnsoever will represent the group in Athens during this period.

An open, more detailed, discussion on the aforementioned will take place on Saturday, 4/2, at 13.00 at "En Omonia" cafe ("Εν Ομόνοια"), 4 Pireos str (in the gallery).

During this meeting we will finilize the program for the period 4-16/2 and discuss on the ways through which the material should be collected, organized and distributed,

And right afterwords, the interviews' trip begins!
